[1] Functional Characteristics

2-Naphthoxyacetic Acid is a naphthalene-derived plant growth regulator with auxin-like biological activity. Absorbed through leaves and roots, it promotes root formation, prevents abscission layer development, and enhances fruit retention.

[2] Application Technology

– Cotton: Apply 10 mg/L solution via full-plant spray at early flowering stage (increases seed cotton yield by ~45%).
– Tomato:
• Cutting propagation: Use 10-15 mg/L solution + equal concentration sodium p-chlorophenoxyacetate.
• Flower treatment: Brush-apply to open flowers during flowering to prevent drop and improve fruit set.
– Grape, Pineapple, Strawberry, Pepper, Eggplant: Spray flowers with 40-60 mg/L solution during early flowering to prevent abscission.
– General cutting propagation: Dip cuttings for 3s in 100 mg/L 2-Naphthoxyacetic Acid + 500 mg/L NAA solution.
